Born in Montreal, Canada, in 1963, I discovered my passion for dance and sports at a very young age. Fascinated with physical fitness and promoting health I began my professional career by graduating from nursing school in 1983. In 1986, my career led me to Lausanne, Switzerland, where I worked at CHUV (Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois). Some time later, I moved to Basel and, after learning German, in 1988, began to work at Basel University Hospital. Parallel to nursing, I was educated in group fitness instruction and personal training. Over a duration of several years, I continued to nurse and teach classes. In 2003, I opened ALTERNATIVE FITNESS, a holistic studio for health promotion through mindful movement (Pilates and Yoga), regeneration (Massage) and nutrition (Metabolic Typing).

Looking for an additional method to help create deep, comprehensive and lasting alignment, I found Rolfing Structural Integration (SI). For me, Rolfing is an exceptional method that encourages self-healing. It is a combined process of hands-on manipulation and movement (re)education designed to reorganize an individuals relationship to gravity and support profound change.

Pilates and Rolfing work exceptionally well to heighten ones movement pattern awareness. Both methods address many of the same aspects of embodiment, such as breathing, intention, stability, flow, coordination and balance, and therefore achieve complementary goals. This philosophy of intrinsic vigor prompted me to establish CONTiNEO in 2014. Your individuality, your resources and your aspirations are my motivation. I adore supporting people in their pursuit of well-being and feel privileged to witness ones process toward growth and a fuller expression of health.
